200 gr FTx

Postby brewdos » Wed Oct 14, 2009 4:52 pm

Has anyone reloaded Hornady 200 gr FTX? I would like to know what the OAL and powder would be. I found
200 gr Barnes XPB, 2.25 OAL, 48 grs LilGun (100% case capacity), 2,620 fps, 1'' group @ 100 yrds.
on another forum.
Thanks for any help

I have some but haven't tried them yet.

I'm sure someone here will have some data for you though.

I just loaded some 200 XTPs with W296 from 42.5 to 44.5 grains. Going to go trying in a couple of hours. UNfortunately my Chronomiter is not working now. I cut the wire off with a gascheck :-) What a dope.
