Here's a link to a short video (my only video) done on an old Olympus still camera, of a 250 FTX hitting milk jugs full of water. All the FTX's I tested trashed the first two jugs on the way in. When you view it, imagine the wound channel on a live critter. Of course live critters have different tissue characteristics than milk jugs full of water, but the net effect would be similar. The bullet made it all the way into jug #5.
