Another offering in the $3 per round category. I don't see how you get that much more out of the 450 BM over a 225 gr FTX.

Two completely different bullets and performance...225 gr. FTX is designed for the 45 Colt not 450 BM velocities at least at close range unless you want varmint bullet performance it would be OK out past 200 yards if you like lead-cup core bullets....

I've shot 225 gr. FTX into wet paper media at 2258 fps impact velocity at 50 yards 5" of penetration heaviest piece of bullet recovered 85 gr. had a hard time recovering a total of 185 gr in pieces...

CEB 160gr. Copper Raptors have no upper limit velocity .....I'am shooting them in a 460 S&W at 3000 fps at 15' base was found at 15" in wet paper media...

In early 2015 I contacted Dan at CEB about using 160 gr. Copper Raptor in the 450 Bushmaster, he never thought about selling or making a CEB bullet for the 450 BM. It was being sold at that time with a sabot for 50 caliber muzzleloaders. It was a perfect fit for AR-15 magazines nothing needed to be changed, just loose the sabot. In a couple days it became a cataloged bullet for the 450 Bushmaster with the 250 gr. also. I received the first 100 bullets minus sabots for my load development. That fall I shot 3 whitetail from 50-185 yards in a Bushmaster AR-15 all DRT....
