+1, Very interesting. Aren't they a close parallel to the Barnes Busters or are the busters cup and core?

The barnes are lead core, but the nose and jacket is very very thick. Heel wraps around to lock everything in.

That flat nose will do a number on whatever it hits for sure.

If someone wanted to experiment with loading a bullet all the way to the lands, I bet these would be a good candidate. Admittedly, they're an expensive bullet to use solely for the purpose of experimenting with loading to the lands. You could do the same with the somewhat less expensive 300gr XTP Mag bullets.

I am not sure that there is anything in North America the would need a bullet like that to take it down with. But it is interesting. I suppose one would have to use something like that in California nowadays as they banned lead bullets and lead shot there. I have been thinking about resizing some 385 grain cast lead bullets to see what would happen though. I think for anywhere but CA that we have better choices.

A better 300 gr. copper solid that will penetrate deep, straight and deliver more trauma than the Lehigh....

Cutting Edge Bullets 45 300 gr. copper solid....https://cuttingedgebullets.com/45-300gr-handgun-solid

45 Colt Winchester 94 with 16" barrel 1578 fps at 25 yards in to wet paper media 32" straight penetration....
45 Colt Ruger Blackhawk with 7.5" barrel 1330 fps at 24 yards in to wet paper media 27" straight penetration....

Lehigh bullet has to small of a meplat under the 65-68% to penetrate straight and deliver as much trauma as the CEB....

I remember seeing those Cutting Edge Flat points. I think they also offer a 200gr version, I bet that would cause major damage to say deer and hogs.
