Trying to find the best place to buy a couple boxes. Anyone have a honey hole somewhere or know of a smaller online retailer?

Welcome Aboard Tex!

Best advice is to watch for sales or better yet, when Midway has the factory seconds in bulk. Many sites are out of stock right now, no surprise on the heels of deer season. Good deals abound in late winter.

When in stock (not right now) manventure outpost has them and many other bullets for a very reasonable price. They have 100 count boxes of the 225gr FTX right now for what a box of 50 250gr FTX costs at Midway (if they were in stock). I buy many of my bullets from manventure outpost if Midway doesn't have factory seconds of them available. Good people to deal with, rock bottom prices.

In Theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In Practice, there is.

Will keep them in mind. Was hoping to find a honey hole on the 250gr but I may just build loads and stock up on both... you know... just so I have a hew hundred at any given time...
