Hornady 240gr .452 XTP Mag for 450b

Went to my local Academy Sports today looking for .452 Projectiles. They had the Hornady 240gr. XTP 452 Mag. Would these be suitable for the 450b? Right now, I’m setting up to reload 450, and have H110 powder. Where would you start with the H110 with these bullets?

Yes, both the 240 and the 300 grainers have been tested and documented in this caliber on this forum. H110 should do well with either.

Though my experiences reported in the search results, were not encouraging, others did better.

Hornady recommends that top muzzle velocity is to be 2200 FPS for those bullets.

Ordered a couple boxes of 225gr FTX. They seem to be pretty popular here and quite a few are getting great accuracy with them.

I use 38 grains lil gun 41 grains for hunting
Both shoot around an inch and am using the 41 grain load for hunting
They came from midway blems and some the tip didn't get deep enough
Don't use them for hunting
Price was good
Will get regular ones next.
They work just as good as the 250 grain bullet
