452 speer 250gr deep curl

Well i dont have good news to report. I went up 1 grain in.5 gr increments and group size expanded double. I then lengthened the oal at 38 gr of lil gun and received a spread of almost 150fps. The crimp was not holding when i didnt have a cannelure to crimp into. Ive not liked this lee fcd for this caliber since i started with it. Im going to purchase the hornady taper crimp die and retry the same loads down the road. My original load however shot the same 2" or so group and today had a spread of 65 with another 5 shot average of 2210. Ill try to tag a doe in the last few days of season for a report.
