Will do. As a teaser I'll post my first 2 shots and save the rest for the range report. I shot the first one at 19gr of SWBO, the second at 20gr 1680. Neither extracted. First chrono'd at 807 after 2 fouler shots and left a clean hole. Second I didn't chrono as I wanted to capture the bullet in some paper.

Top 2 are 300 gr XTPs at 1900 fps, bottom 500 gr at 807

Glad to see you have some room to work upward on the loads. At first glance, I thought that image of your bullet was some kind of larvae.

I have resized 500 grain government lead bullets (45-70) and stuffed them into the 450 case. Seated to the driving bands, the AOL of the cartridge will not feed from the magazine of a RAR. The angle of entrance to the chamber is too great, with the bullet slamming into the breach face. Although I made a single shot sled that works.

Go check out my post, I just put it up. I had similar issues with the long taper of the 45/70 bullet and long seating.
