The 500 is troublesome at best. Honestly, the gas checked 300 grain is where it's at IMHO. Good accuracy, stability, expansion, penetration... Hard to beat. We've already been talking a little on my NOE 454-307 RF thread. Unfortunately I have to move to NJ this summer, so my access to a place to test and shoot is going in the dumps :'(
