I wonder about that listing. The picture looked like a flat base FTX but the fuzziness looked like the all copper ones they have on occasion. If it had been the latter, for sure, I would have been on them like a cat on a flightless bird. Its literally been years since they had the blem/seconds 250gr all coppers on sale. I'm on the notify list for them. The last time I got notified, I was almost done driving home from work. By the time I got inside and booted the PC to order some, they were already gone.

Bought a few boxes of 225’s. Accuracy from the regular production bullets is incredible, I hope the seconds are as good. The 6.8 seconds I’ve bought from Midway in the past have been gtg.

Got mine today, and can’t tell that they’re seconds. After a quick inspection they all look great.

I got a couple of boxes of the 225s and they measure .450" Is this normal for the FTX?
I think there must have been something on my digital dial caliber when I zeroed it before measureing them. With a manual caliper they measure .452", With a micrometer they mostly read .4518-9"
Sorry for the confusion
Glenn.

thanks

Not at all!

I'd be checking them with a second micrometer just to be sure. I've bought my share of those 225 seconds and never had them vary by more than .0005

Don't apologize Glenn. I doubt there is a member here (myself included) who hasn't been bit in the butt by crazy caliper readings. The good news is that it all worked out for you. Image
