Lee 300 gr cast

Has any one shot the 300 lee bullet ? Says 454, 45 colt. 452 dia looks like it might work, but it has a flat nose

I personally don’t shoot cast, but I don’t see an issue with it. Only thing you have to really watch for is your load length. Really blunt bullets will end up being loaded pretty short. Just use an overall length gauge to figure out where the lands are.

Not the 300, but the 340. It's been great so far. Cycles perfect from the magazine and groups well with the right OAL and if I make sure the bullets weigh the same after casting.
