Loading subsonic for the 450BM

Postby shell70634 » Mon Jul 20, 2020 8:44 pm

I've been playing with my new 450 BM 10.5 in upper. I've worked up a 265gr powder coated bullet super sonic load with Shooters World Blackout. Now I want to work up a sub sonic load with the same bullet. I'd like to use the same bullet. Has anyone worked up a sub load for lightweights (265-275)? I don't want to buy another mold but I will if I can't get it to run. Maybe a 350 to 450 grain?

Generally speaking such "lite" bullets dont work well as a SUB because getting them to cycle reliably is difficult.

I like Lymans 450g 457121.
