Resizing help

I need a Lillie help reloading the bushmaster round. I feel like I’m relearning this whole deal again as this is my first straight wall cartridge.

I’m using the Lee pace setter set and if I follow the instructions for the resizing die my cases are growing more then I expected. They go in at 1.690 and come out at 1.705. So now they are over spec and need trimmed? If I back the die out they grow less but I thought then the whole case doesn’t get resized. Does that matter? How far should I turn out the resizing die or do I just need to start trimming? This is for an AR.

I think my question is how do you set the resizing die for this cartridge? No shoulder to bump that’s how I set up my bottle neck cartridges. Per the instructions I’m sizing them way too much to get the length growth I’m seeing.

Full length resize just like any straight wall case. "Kiss the shellholder" has always worked for me..

Ditto for me but I'm using the Hornady die set.

Do you trim them to 1.7 if they end up over that measurement?

I've had a couple grow to 1.70 but none beyond 1.70. The first time through, most sit in the 1.690-1.697 range.
