Revisiting 450 Bushmaster with powdercoated cast bullets

Time to revisit casting for the 450- this time with a more typical type bullet and adding powder coating to the mix.

Here's the idea-

Bolt action rifle with 1:16 barrel. Looking at using a mould similar to this:

COWW, gas checked and powder coated, probably the shake and bake method.

Hoping to load this to +/- 2200fps for deer etc.

Obviously no way to know if a certain rifle will like a certain bullet but that caveat aside is this in general a sound concept?

I think that is a 260gr bullet.

I think that is a 260gr bullet using lead but with wheel weights, might be a little lighter.
