275g Load Data Starting Point

275g Makers. Ruger American. Have H110, IMR4227, and Lil Gun. Can find all kinds of info for ARs but still looking for info for a bolt action. Any recommended powders and/or starting points?

can't help on the Makers, but a 275gr Barnes 45gr H110 was about it in my custom 700. those were seated 2.410ish OAL and lit up with a CCI450.

Thanks for that info. I’m trying to look up Barnes data as a gauge on where to start as it should be close. Just need to make sure I’m starting at a safe level before working up.
I’ve never loaded my 450 with H110, only Lil Gun. I’ll have to try it.

keep us posted.
I have a box of Maker 250gr tipped kicking around, been going to try them in the #1 with 300MP or CFE BLK at some point.

I saw a guy on FB is running 275g Makers with IMR4227 40g at 2.315 oal. Just want I need, more options! LOL

Never used 4227 much, a little bit in a 460 Encore and 325gr Swift's was it.
Was looking at my Makers lastnite and see they don't have any relief bands in them like the Barnes do.
Work up carefully and watch your chrono for spikes or flattening of velocity.
