Just scored some birthday powder.

I just lucked upon a 8# keg of A1680! It was sort of a birthday gift!
Now I can really get down to some serious testing of the 275 and 300
Grain boolits!
Any recipes would be welcome! Please include the type rifle and
Twist rate of the barrel.
Thanks!

overbook, but 45gr 1680, CCI450, and a 300gr XTP mag has been my go to load for the 16" 24t factory Bushey upper. Gun just dumps them out, never have seen a hint of pressure.

I'll have to measure the OAL but the case mouth is just under the cannuler and .030 off the lands.

I bought a 1 pound jug of it several years ago and used it for some sort of R&D, (details that I don’t even remember), for 300 grains I think or it was a 300 gr deep curl. I think I used it for some Barnes bullets as well but for the life of me I can’t find my notebook where I wrote down those results. If I remember correctly the deep curls did not group at all… rats. I’ve gotta find that book.
