Crazy! What is weird is the intermittent muzzle flash. Sometimes it is there and other times it is not.

That's just shutter synchronization or lack thereof. Unless you're shooting one of those 1 mega-frames-per-second special video cameras, odds are your shutter will miss some of the flashes. The consumer grade video camera with 30 frames per second misses a lot in that 1/30th of a second.

I filmed some FTX bullets being shot into columns of milk jugs filled with water. In one frame there was nothing. In the very next frame, the jugs were all exploded and the water was still in the air for one more frame. Not particularly revealing...

Got an e-mail from Midway that they now have 450 dies if anyone is interested.

Natchez has the die set for the 450 Bushmaster at $59.99 (normally $62.85). The item number is F07PC546452. The link is http://www.natchezss.com/product.cfm?co ... N=19587871. Note that only three dies are pictured. There should be a fourth die for the taper crimp. Call them first.

I'm sure that's the same picture for any Hornady dies they're selling as the ones in the picture are for a bottleneck cartridge. The description says 4-die set.

I took advantage of this sale a while back. It does have 4 dies. Natchez has some awesome sales on right now.

If anyone is interested in reloading the 225 gr .452 bullet for the Bushmaster 450 and you don't want to mess with the seating die on your 250 gr .452 bullet set up, the correct seating die for the Bushmaster 450 can be purchased separately from Midway for about $23 (plus shipping and Midway's annoying surcharge for small orders - so buy something else while you are at it). It is the 460 S&W .452 Seater Die - http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=597113.

Here is the reply from Hornady to me re this die:

"We do sell a separate seating die for the 450 Bushmaster. We are not selling dies directly out of the factory, so here is the link to MidwayUSA where you can purchase this die: http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?p ... ber=597113. It is listed as 460 S&W but this is the seating die you will need."
