That Barnes would build an MRX in say 275-300 grain for the 450? Seems like it could be an effective bullet and keep the overall length down.

You have to keep in mind that outside of the 450b, most .452 bullets are manufactured for handguns. Look at the MRX. It's a rifle bullet from the get-go. I expect to one day see it in .458, but not .452.
