I don't know about those babies. The length to diameter ratio's gotta be approaching 1:1.

I heard about them through my father in law,he uses em in his carry weapon, i'll see if hes got any laying around and i'll measure one of em.

i dont think that the short length would help with accuraly, but they are solid copper, so they are gonna be longer that a lead jacketed bullet of the same weight.. correct?

True. That's one of the appeals for copper. Of course you pay for that in BC, but we're not talking sniper round either. At approximately a buck apiece shipped, they better "clear your complexion, give you an erection and win the election" -Tom Waits ;)

Everyone can relate to the impact of the shape of a bullet to its BC, but Mass figures in just as well. The greater the mass, the greater the Ballistic Coefficient. Lead has a greater mass than copper. For the same shape and length bullet, the one made of lead, or partly lead / partly copper, will have a greater (better) BC than one made entirely of copper.

Ready..GO!!

how fast could you make these little buggers go?
160 gr barns solid?

brassknuckles-
I've already put some of these thru the rifle, and they're doing about 3100 fps across the chronograph. Again, it's just a speed test, without any work toward accuracy.

I'll report on my trials in the next couple of days.
