I did get a chance to shoot the trail boss and 2495 loads last weekend. I didn't shoot much as my chronograph did not work the entire shooting session.
I can say that the trail boss will not cycle the action even at a full load, but it may help it be a super quiet load suppressed. I really think that the Accurate 2495 will work for what I am doing. I really don't know what they were pushing fps wise, but even my 80% loading cycled the action. Quick load calculates that a 28.2gr load would put me right at 1100fps, witch will work in my location(never freezes here, so even at that speed should stay subsonic). the 2495 was not as dirty as I had thought it would be, and I have no problems with the bolt hanging like I had with 4831.

I got my ced millennium2 chronograph today so it the hurricane doesn't rain us out, I'll get more data this weekend. I also finally sent my form 1 paperwork to the BATFE and hope that it doesn't take a year for them to get to it. Once I get my tax stamp, I'll start working on the suppressor.

Me Too.. I'm very interested in this AA--2495 load. I always have a 22lr for checking the Crono, keeps me from wasting ammo, but really I've changed over to an IR system, the light is always stable..t

These were the 405gr Remington soft points. Also with a full load(35.5gr) of aa2495 behind that 405gr should be right at 1400 fps, and that is one hard hitting round!!!

oh yea, I guess more information is better. I'm using Hornady cases and Remington 7 1/2 primers, COL 2.20, with a fairly deep side crimp.

I think I finally have some good data!!

I loaded up some 2495 with the 405 gr copper jacketed flat points and with 31.9gr of powder I got and average of 1085fps and the action cycled with no signs of problems! This round actually shoots fairly clean too, I think I could go hunt all night and not need a cleaning till mornin. I was only shootin 65yrds but the grouping was way better than I expected!! I was getting 4 holes touching and usually one flier bout 1/2 and inch high. I am extremely happy with this load, It is dam quiet to begin with and suppressed should be down right funny!!! I also loaded some with 35.5 gr of 2495(still an uncompressed load) witch was shooting around 1225fps!

I also got some good readings form the crono with trail boss. A full load uncompressed was shooting at an average of 800fps and would not cycle the action, but very quiet asswell!

I had some time to cast some 501.4 with gas checks that I will load up next, I still need to lube and re-size them and they will be ready to go! The only problem is that with quickload when I put in my data of 1.254bullet length with and col of 2.20 the case capacity is way off from what I actually see with a case drilled out and full of powder. With my dummy case I get 29.4gr of 2495 as a full capacity load(not compressed), and quick load says that that will be 131.3% full and over pressure??? So I'm not sure what to think!

Thanks for all the help!!!

Maybe I missed this further back, but what is your POI shift between your subsonic loads and say a loading similar to factory? In my 300 Whisper I often get around 8-10" between subsonic loads and supersonic loads.

I was shooting at around 60-65yrds and the scope was dialed in for my 250gr sst load at 100yrds, the subsonics were shooting same point of impact only 35-40yrds closer.
