Siringo, It was my extractor that broke, How do I post a pic here?

It Broke right at the rear of the claw, I did a home fix on it by building up the missing material and reshaping it to what I figured was the proper shape, When removing it to replace it with a 7.62 extractor I found it to be cracked in two spots, Looks like I removed to much metal from above the groove. Hung in their for 40+ rounds.

I'll try to figure out the pic posting process

When you reply look at the bottom under "Options" and it says "Upload to Tiny pic"

How is the 7.62 extractor working? Would a AR10 extractor work??? I am not familiar with the dimensions.

Siringo, The 7.62 Extractor worked flawlessly with the last 50 284/450 cases I loaded up, I will run some factory Hornady rounds through it this weekend, I assume it will work just as good.

Thanks for the pictures. Looks like break area is the same as the wear area on my extractor. Something to pay close attention to when using 284 cases.

Good to know that the other extractor works. Good for back up and easy to get.

Exactly! I don't know about the AR10 extractor, But this 7.62 extractor works great.(should have ordered more than one)

Sorry if it comes off like I'm whining about my parts request from BM, I got the thing running, But would like to see BM do the right thing.
