I use one too.

Use of a Lee 45 crimp die is a recurring theme, however, and I'd like to learn what others have used besides the Hornady taper crimp die and the Lee 45-70 mod.

Bob,
use the lee factory "taper" crimp die for the 45 acp... part# 90785, taper crimping seems to give me more consistent reloads and u dont have to worry about a cannelure when setting up custom loads... good luck

Thank you for a prompt and exact reply.

A comparison of the Lee die with the taper crimp die supplied with the Hornady kit is the next order of business.
