Dies on sale at MidwayUSA

Postby Colohunter » Tue Jun 29, 2010 6:06 pm

Just as a heads up, Midwayusa has Hornady 450 dies on sale for $56.44, after my order there should be 13 left at that price according to the website. I'm excited to buy dies for the 450, it was my only centerfire that I wasn't currently reloading for.

Just the seating die, but I've managed to kinda get it back online. Not sure if the single die would just be cheaper from Hornady. Been tossing a lot of jingle on bullets and powder lately.

Might be a little cheaper just to buy one die, but might take a little longer to order if you have to go directly through Hornady.

Yes, it is a quandary. Worst part is payday isn't until the 9th. :|

That's seems to be how it works, the sales always come up when you don't really have the money to spend. So do you go ahead and get it, or wait until payday and take your chances with whether or not there are any left?

All's well that ends well. I called Hornady to price the seating plug and body and the nice fellow I spoke to would have no part of it. He's sending me new ones and a spring clip for free. He said it might even make it out before the end of the week.
