I have an idea that involves a sewer pipe, a bowling ball, a stick of dynamite, and some 4x4's. Then mine will be bigger than yours.

Ok I'll give you the "because they can". Other than that is there any purpose for the rifle they had in mind, or was it just a "let's see if we can" thing? $40/round :shock: 2400 gr projectile with 240 gr of powder? :shock: :shock:

I would have to be there and witness someone shooting it before I would consider it. What was it.... 200 ft lbs of recoil? And what's with the and I believe this is how they put it, "lock it S L O W L Y". Are they afraid it might actually fire the round while closing the bolt???? EEEK

Did I hear him say 270 Foot pounds of recoil? That thing could launch grenades. Good thing that's a single shot, could you imagine it going full auto or even worse, a bumpfire?
But I would like to see what that bullet would do to a 55 gallon drum full of water. :o
