Lets see, the .410 ammo is rated at about 10,000psi and the 454 casual, to say nothing of their other cartridge selections, is about 4x to 5x, the pressure of the .410.

MST3K, use to watch them guys all the time.

I thought the .410 would of blown up, especially when he said it had a full choke.
Also all those rounds chamber in there with no problems?

I'm a huge fan of MST3K and now Rifftrax and Cinematic Titanic. Both groups are the original members of MST3K.

Did you look at all that steel around the .410 chamber? I think the manufacturer built it that way knowing those other rounds would chamber and someone would try it. I'm not saying its safe. But, I think that Lil gun has got a heck of a lot of margin for error built into it!

Yes. I have a .410 almost like that one and the chamber on that rascal is surrounded by some pretty beefy steel. WC and myself have had a few conversations about the possibility of converting a NE single shot with a rifled 45 caliber barrel and just reaming a chamber and modifying the extractor. I even called NE firearms, but that was a dead end. But I would love to have a single shot break open chambered in the 450 Bushmaster, just to work up loads.

Nah nah nah. All you need is a Whitney punch and some disks. Make yourself a single round moon clip and put a 450b round in that baby.

Use a really long string!

If they had been standing next to it or worse, shoulder firing it, then I would have been inclined to believe I was watching the gene pool trying it's darnedest to purge defects in manufacturing. Unfortunately, just like driving, some fools drink before trying stuff they normally would not do. Some gomer is going to see how well his/her 410 responds to that abuse and decide to skip the trigger string.
