Is that .22lr or .22wm?

I picked up some Aquila super sub sonics, eley super sonics and cci tacticle ammo from cabelas. Once my suppressor comes in I'm gonna shoot a bunch of different types and see which is dirtiest or cleanest. Then figure out a way to try my firing pin idea. Possibly gonna call it the "Trident Striker" because of shape. Another thought I had on it was a "crush ring" instead of striker.

22 Win Mag Rimfire. (22 WMR)
Advertised FPS is around 2600 I think.
Definitely not a subsonic round.

Ummm...I think the 22WMR tops out at 2200fps, with 30gr boolits, from several manufacturers. My 5mm RRM will do 2400fps with the 30gr HPs from Centurion.

You might be right. I didn't have the box in front of me at the time. But they are definitely little cookers.
I'll look at the box and post correction.

I've never had a misfire with CCI's rimfire, can't say as much for the Rems.

You might try a new one from Winchester, their M-22, 40gr LRN, made for AR-type rifles. It is coated with what looks like black moly, and they claim it is very clean burning...?

Got some of that yesterday for my mp22. :D was thinking tri-strike would be a good name for my idea also. cci's have always been my choice for kill shots up close on deer and Yotes. I've got some blazers and mini mags to try. All comments are welcome on personal favorites and dislikes. I won't use bulk federal but will include in test.

My favorite 22LR is CCI stingers. That's one hard hitting 22 bullet.
