Mmmmm, tree rat stew my favorite by the camp fire. Does anyone know how to make bread on a stick?

Got to go the range for first time this year. Fired four different types of 22 on plinking range with my boy. Used my m&p 22, Walter 3.5" barrel and my sons cricket .22 single shot. Only one bad round from Remington 22 golden bullet, 36 gr. 1280 fps. Tried the round in Walther and cricket no luck. Other ammo was cci's stinger 32 gr 1640 fps. Eley prime from Aquila supermaximum hyper velocity 30 gr no velocity listed on box. Winchester m-22 40 gr 1255 fps. Eley didnt feed well in Walther. All ammo hit same point of impact with all weapons. Great accuracy with all on plinking range. Will do targets soon with 25 yard and 50 yards groups of five. Also have Aquila SSS sniper subsonic 60 gr for when the can shows up.

That Aquila SSS 60gr is an interesting round...I have a bunch of it...check for key-holing on the target, they need a quick twist barrel for that long, slow boolit.

I have been thinking about getting a .22 conversion for my carbon .223 bushy. Anyone have any experience with any on the market. Cmmg seems best price.

Finally got my .22 suppressor it only took 7 months!!! But it is fun to shoot and not have to wear hearing protection. Kids are back in school the 21st and my kitchen remodel will be done then also. I cant wait to get on the range and shoot so i can post lots of pics and videos and charts for you all. Its been a boring kid filled summer.

I function tested with some CCI AR tactical this weekend.

It ran great in a slightly used Sig 1911-22 that I just acquired and and the Promag 10/22 drum liked it too. The drum would not even feed Rem Bulk ammo, but ran fine on the 20 or 30 rounds of Federal Bulk I had sitting around. The instruction sheet for the drum warned about using the Remington ammo but I had to try it anyway.
