Nice rig! Interesting side note on the 1911 in .45ACP: This pistol was originally developed in response to complaints from U.S. soldiers fighting crazed Muslims in the Phillipines during the Spanish-American War. Seems the .38Spl revolvers the Army was issuing then did not have sufficient stopping power to take down their "I don't give a damn" opponents. Sound familiar? Fast forward 100 years later: The U.S. is going back to the .45ACP in some version of the 1911 because the issue 9mm does not have sufficient stopping power against whom?....crazed Muslims. The circle of life. ;)
