Steel vs Brass Casings

Just an article I ran across: It compares brass cased ammo vs steel cased for the 223 round. Very interesting and in this climate I
have thought about buying Wolf or Tula ammo.

I have used steel-cased Wolf in my BM XM15 for some time with no discernible ill affects - but I haven't done 10,000 rounds. Based on that article, the main difference seems to price, and for my money, I would not hesitate to buy steel-cased ammo.

Ive had a few that didnt seem to do well with stell cased ammo.
But it may have just been because it was cheaper, so less quality or consistency.
I did unload some mags that I had stored full for awhile, ak and ar, that seemed like the steel ammo was a little stickyer on the feed lips.
Brass is easier and more readily reloaded. Steel can be reloaded, but more effort is needed and I've read it only lasts a couple cycles.
you can be more relaxed leaving the cases at the range.

Of course steel cases can be easily picked up with after shooting if you dont want to leave them to be studied by that cute little CSI chick.
( The Houston lab doesnt need to test them, somebody already said you did it)
