Can anyone here give me their opinion on Palmetto State Armory (PSA) stripped lowers and their quality?

I have two of them sitting in my safe from a $50 sale. They seem to be okay, but I haven't had a chance to build them up yet.

Did an "m16" build using a stripped Psa ar15 lower and Psa lower parts kit.
Used surplus m16 upper and stock , grip.

Color matched nicely .

No complaints. Functioned flawlessly.

They're hard to beat at that price. The two in my safe were a $50 sale. I haven't decided what I want to build them into yet, but I couldn't pass on the price.

My last build was an AR pistol with a 7" barrel. Fun to shoot and will hopefully get around to registering it as an SBR one of these days.

I think I'm going to go with a Franklin Armory pistol upper. I spoke with Jay yesterday.

In 450? That would be a real hand cannon.

Well, I've ruled out the 7.62X39 because I don't want to carry two different kinds of magazines. So I guess I must admit that the 450 Bushmaster would have to fit into this same category. So that leaves the 5.56 NATO. This AR is going to be strictly a "poopoo hits the fan/get home and defend the home" primary weapon. I will be focusing on a very simple red dot system with BUIS, a good quality MagPul QD single point or two point strap, a Levang style flash suppressor and that's it. I have MagPul Mags already but may just go buy a bunch more since it seems Cabelas has a never ending shelf chocked full of them for a reasonable price.
But you know, if my tax refund allows me two uppers......... Well then! That's gonna make things get interesting! 8-)
