Wondering what model # Sims limbsaver pad I need to fit my A2 Bushmaster stock. Read the 17 pages on reducing recoil and saw snippets of talk of pad but don't know which one.

I've got one...IRC its a medium size. Had to make a small cut in it for the sling stud, also. Works great, though!

Oh, oops..."IRC" is text-goober-speak for "If I Remember Correctly"... ;)

Sims Limbsaver is the actual brand name....also sold at WallyWorld under "IRC" the Winchester brand name...same thing, different package. When I bought mine, they were available in several colors...?

I had a problem with a ar 15 450bushmaster being too short and nothing seemed like it didn't fit couldn't see through the scope very well. Then I got a pad that I had and tied it on with a tie wrap. You can't believe what a difference it made. I was talking about all kinds of things, different stock' raising the scope fixed it in 3 minutes shoots good. If I can get a pig out in front of me tonight I will hit him for sure.

Cabledad: Do you have an "A2" style stock, or what, exactly? If it is, you can easily, and at a wide range of prices, replace the classic A2 stock with any number of adjustable stocks that accommodate different lengths of pull, and that also have adjustable cheek risers that modify the height of the top of the stock for sighting alignment. They're not exactly cheap, but most are not exorbitant either.

Found a Sims pad the 1st Wallyworld I stumbled into. Now gotta lose that pesty sling hoop and pick up a sling stud.

Wonder at what point the dead presidents stop flying out of my wallet faster than they go in?

The Slip-On Limbsaver model number is: 10547
Amazon.com has it for 21.97, as does Walmart.com both plus shipping
Everyone else wants more money such as Midway for $34.99 plus shipping
I have a simple swivel stud on my stock and the slip-on stretches over it.

EDIT: Looks like I doubled with ratpack
