Why not just stick with the .41 Magnum? Its been out there for years. I guess if you carry a 10mm semi, it could use the same ammo.

What a weird decision on Ruger's part! The 10mm would have been a normal choice had they chambered it in the Super Blackhawk and made 2 cylinders, with one being for the 40 S&W, using the half moon clips for both. There is no reason for the Super Redhawk to be the platform for the 10mm. But Ruger has made some odd choices in the past as well. They hit a grandslam homerun with the 10mm 1911, though.

seems to be a rebirthing of the ole 10mm these days, I still have my old Colt Delta Elite that gets shot a few times a year, bud has one too and has a Glock that came apart in his hand once with factory ammo, sorta gun shy shooting it now.

Dittos to Hoot...I've always liked the .41 Mag...its way underrated. Might get some help since Henry now makes a levergun in .41 Mag. Henry lever with a Super Blackhawk, both in .41 Mag would be a mighty nice huntin' load out.
