If anyone is interested in a 10mm carbine, Hi-Point has listed its 1095TS on their website, not sure if any distributors have them yet. Street price should probably be around $350 or thereabouts. I have one of their 9mm carbines, and absolutely love it...eats anything and goes bang every time. New 10mm is a major jump in firepower, of course, but still only has a 10-round mag available. They really need to make a "double stack/feeding to single stack" 20-rounder, at least...maybe someday. Anyway the 9mm has no appreciable recoil even with the hottest factory loads, is accurate, and just a lot of fun to shoot.

Sorry, Hoot-mon...one of my New Year's resolutions was not to spread gun porn... ;)

Speaking of Kel-Tec, I wonder if they'll try to play in the 10mm carbine arena now that Hi-Point has jumped in the game?

What I really wanted was one of the Oly Arms 10mm rigs, but the product vanished before I could arrange possession, and then so did Oly Arms...

That guy makes some good stuff! I was talking to him, lining up a DI 45acp upper for a build I was going to do years ago. Unfortunately, I got laid off right before we finalized how I wanted it set up. Ended up having to sell the lower to pay bills.

I'll be honest and say it is very tempting. I owned a Hi Point 45 carbine quite a while and it was a fun gun to shoot as long as you have thick enough skin to deal with all the people on the range giving you crap about it being a Hi-Point. After a 50-round break in the saying never jammed or misfired on me again and I probably ruined a good 5000 rounds very cheap steel and aluminum cased ammo through it before I sold it.

I don't care what they say it was fun to shoot my only regret was buying one in .45. if I had to do over again, I would buy one in 9mm instead, since 9 mm ammo is SO MUCH cheaper.

If I was looking for really really cheap deer rifle 10 mm would probably be a decent option.

That carbine I had was surprisingly accurate, it definitely got MUCH tighter groups than the Mini-14 I also ended up selling (because after that range trip I officially knew that the problem what was with the gun and not me lol).
