Buddy and I have been supporting Anheuser-Busch stocks on it for the last couple months :o right now the reason "to have" are out weighing the "we don't need one" by a slim 30pk margin

I really don't have an interest in the .224 V, mainly because I don't shoot 1000yds. Don't have access to anything near that.
In my personal opinion, I think they should have made it a 6mm. AR15Performance has a 6.8 shortened and necked to a 6mm called the TAC6, getting similar velocities from 105gr bullets, with similar b.c., out of an 18" barrel. I think he's mentioned making longer barrels later. That's what I would go with, but then again, I reload, so I don't need factory ammo.

Edit - If you are interested in getting a .224V, I hear you want a 1:6 twist for the 90gr bullets, which most companies don't make yet.
