$.29 per case Link doesn't seem too bad if you're incined toward this caliber. For everyone in one of the pistol caliber, shotgun zones, I hope the .355 vs .357 issues gets cleared up before the fall hunting season.

shouldn't be a problem here in Michigan... our rules say 35 cal or greater and 1.6-1.8 case length... which the legend satisfy's.

I have read from a few sources Iowa seems to be the one state with issues. Winchesters mess.

I have seen a letter from Ohio. Its good there. Luckily I dont need to worry I can use what ever.

As for brass costs, Im buying loaded ammo fro under 9$ a box. I pull it and re use properly prepped brass factory primers and powder with a re sized bullet for awesome accuracy.

Well I took the 350 plunge last Saturday. I bought a CVA Scout with threaded 19-7/8" barrel and Winchester 150gr XP ammo. I loctited the base, mounted Burris Signature Zee rings and mounted a Swift Premier 4-12x40 scope in them. I laser bore sighted it and took it to the range the following day. In 7 shots I was 2 inches high at 100 yards and dead on at 180. It's just as accurate as my 450BM with less muzzle rise. It's going to be my go to rifle this deer season. It would make a great rifle for a woman, child or anyone who is recoil sensitive. This is my third CVA and I and I have no complaints with any of them.

For anyone interested in subsonic hunting / defense, Maker Bullets now lists a 220gr expanding subsonic load. They also have a 150gr supersonic load.

I have some of each on order, hopefully in time for late antlerless season here in Michigan.

If you handload, the bullets can be had for that as well as loaded.

I also just got in on the 350L band wagon. I enjoy loading and shooting the 450BM so much I figured it needed a little brother (one my kids won't be afraid to hunt with). I went with the BCA 16" side charger and shot a box of 147 fmjs just to check cycling, good so far. I put a Vortex 3-9 on it and have my Lee dies and Lee C358-200 mold in the mail. I'm excited for it, only going to use H110 or LG.
