Galil is excellent gun to convert to this caliber.

I will go with a barrel in the original 45 inch twist rate which is 10 inches tighter than I
originally planned to use for use with a 230 grain bullet with 3,000 feet per second
velocity. The .223 Rem Galil will accept the .308 Win Galil bolt with Zero modifications
for use with the .45Professional/450Bushmaster, and I have had the correct bolt for this
conversion for 4 years now.
