According to dtech they are pushing a 200 grain .358 bullet 100fps more than 358 Winchester max loads with zero pressure signs. That would be pushing them 2600-2700fps. That's pushing things pretty hard!

Just some perspective.

I easily get 2600-2700fps with a Barnes 200g .451" and have seen 3000fps, with sub .5moa. Agreed, there isn't the BC with the 45's, but BC isn't everything. As long as I have a laser range finder and adjustable sights, keeping our bullets on target, even to 600yds, is quite academically reliable and still kills well, at those ranges (something that is very doable, but getting tougher to do with a 358 or375 @ 600yd).

Of course we are still Americans (or at least I think we are, better check with the President), and as such we want thinks just "Because", and with that in mind, I wanna .358 and a .375 and a bunch of other calibers as well.

So, .."shoot'em if ya got'em"..

Yep your right about the it's a want thing. I didn't even need the 450 but I wanted it LOL there is nothing I can't kill around here with my 280Rem. I'd still like a 6.5WSSM but I'm not sure if I can shoot the bullets I want too? My projectile of choice for the 6.5 is the 140 grain AMax and I'm just not sure if there is enough room.
