Just got signed up. I don't have a complete 450 Bushmaster in my hands yet...I bought a Core15 lower yesterday and ordered a APF 16" upper an hour ago. I pass by the Core 15 factory twice a day, They don't make a 450 BM so I got a complete lower from them with the Hogue 6 position stock and Hogue grip. I ordered a Rise Armament trigger today too. Thinking about a Bushnell 4500 Elite 2.5 x 10 40mm scope. I plan on taking a few hogs with my gun when I get it together, got 5 this month with a 243..can't wait to see what a 450 BM does to them..gotta go, taking wife out to dinner..she does not know about the 450 yet..

Welcome to our Electronic Campfire. Sounds like a nice setup. I hope your Bushnell will hold up better than the bushnells, I’ve owned in the past. I stopped buying bushnells probably over 20 years ago.

Did you have any of the "Elite" Series Bushnells? I put a Elite 3200 on a 12 gauge slug barrel in 2001 or 02, it seems fine. In 2005 I put a Elite 4200 on a 30-06 bolt action it has been flawless. I was hoping since they are "Magnum" rated they would hold up on a semi auto 450 BM. I am more of a longbow/Recurve Archery guy than a gun guy so I'm not sure about the newer Optics. My hunting buddy is going to get a Ruger American 450 and put a Zeiss Terra scope on it, he has one on a light kicking 7mm-08 rifle.

It’s been since 1994 so I don’t even remember.

I had a 6-24 Elite 4200 that I used on my 450b for load workup the first few years. It held up just fine and I was a busy boy those first years. I also used a Sightron SII 6-24 for the same reason and finally developed a fondness for Nikon Monarch 6-24x50 which is my current load workup scope. All three were up to the task. The Nikon Prostaff 3-9 EFR is rated for air rifle service, even magnum springers, which are generally considered the hardest assignment for a rifle scope. If you're looking for an affordable scope that's tougher than a junk yard dog, consider it.

I got a radical firearms complete 450bm right before deer season in ohio. Less than $700 for the complete gun. Thing is accurate. Going to start reloading the 225ftx for it next week or so.
