Empty 450 brass

Postby qtmars » Fri May 08, 2015 10:43 am

HI everyone, first time posting i have been rummaging around here for awhile gleaming as much info as i can. A friend has built me bolt 450bm and is dropping it off this weekend, and would like to do some reloading for it with out shooting a ton of factory ammo. i have dies and everything else just cant find any brass! So if anyone has some once fired they would be willing to part with i would be interested in 100 to 200 or anything up to that. say 40 cents a piece? plus shipping? let me know!
Thanks
Mark

These guys https://www.precisionreloading.com had 450b brass yesterday. They had a sale on shipping for $5 total. Don't know if they are still doing that. I ordered 3 boxes.

Just about a dollar a round for the brass - https://www.precisionreloading.com/cart.php#!c=176&s=in&ca=450%20Bushmaster. Cheaper to buy the complete rounds after you factor in powder, primers, and bullets, plus your time and the investment in reloading equipment. Plus there is a free brass casing in every round that you can reload, once you have fired it. From Midway, http://www.midwayusa.com/product/979384/hornady-custom-ammunition-450-bushmaster-250-grain-sst-flex-tip-expanding-box-of-20 .

The best way to buy is when Midway offers the $10, $20, $30 off orders of a certain dollar amount then try to buy as many boxes as you can. If you're a verified customer and they send you a birthday coupon, that's another good way to get the brass at a better price.

I ordered 5 boxes from precision and while i was waiting got the scope mounted up and ready to hit the range when they came in. Headed out to the range yesterday and sent 2 boxes down range! was real happy with how it shot 1 1/4" @100 yrds, and was ringing steal at 200 with no problems, think im going to like this gun alot!
