Hey hoot i know you are a bullet genius, have you had any encounters with swift a frame bullets,265gr hps, i cant find any data for a load.I even called a teck at the company still no luck,i guess i could start out low and work a load up with the chronogram, but kinda on a budget, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks bushmaster1921.

Just looked thru some 5yr old notes, 44gr 1680, two 3 shot groups were 1 1/4" @ 110yds, never chronoed it. I did highlight it to wring out at a later date.........way behind doing that!!! :o

One thing I didn't note was OAL for whatever reason, but with 1680 I tend to like a slightly compressed load as long as it cycles thru the mag.

Typical disclaimer, safe in my gun, use at your own risk. ;)

Thanks AL , I loaded 34.0 grs of lil- gun and chronographed at 1500 fps no pressure signs at all, went to 36grs at 2175 no pressure signs at all. Was happy with the fps, what is your thoughts, thanks for your reply. Bushmaster1921.

The 36gr looks on par with hornadys 250gr data. If it's accurate I'd say good to go.

My buddy whacked a 300+# bear last week with my 460 encore and a 325gr Swift, man did it leave a mark

Thanks for the compliment, but I'm hardly a bullet genius. I did however stay at a Holiday Inn Express once. ;)

That's one I have not dabbled with, so I can't offer much advice. I imagine they perform along the lines of the Remington 260 grain Accutip.
