Greetings fellow shooters,

I Shoot a Ruger AR and a Savage Wolverine in 450 BM. I sold ALL of my 300 BO gear as I figure I can cover whats lost with 357 Maximum/ Magnum/ 38. I have Lee Dies and have only shot Hornady Factory AMMO in my guns.

I want to present to a mold builder two designs...a 275 Grain Barnes Clone with a little wider Meplat and no crimp Groove and the same Boolit but longer at 300 grains.

Im open to suggestions. I am not an expert on anything.....but a MP Molds Penta design will expand and hold together with rookie alloy experience. (1/3 WW to 2/3 Range Scrap Water Dropped.

Thanksfor your help,

Bluejay

Looks promising. I know it's 370 grains versus your 300 grain limit. I just think this cast bullet has potential. If I had the available funds, I'd be all over this mold.

Just curious if you ever worked out your bullet issue?

I just joined the group and have had a 450BM in a AR platform since Feb. I also cast. I just started casting a RCBS 45-300-FN Mold. It is a .458 mold that I size to .452 then powder coat and gas check. They drop at 320g.
