Is anyone loading the 240gr HV for bolts rifles? It doesn’t look like Sierra will be producing Barnes anytime soon.

What are accuracy expectations and performance on larger deer?

I haven't but they are on my short list to try this spring.

Haven't heard any negative accuracy issues and the couple of pics I have seen of recovered bullets looked flawless.

Yea I've shot a hundred of them and loaded a bunch of them. They have a superior BC nothing can touch them 2.65 most are .19 to .21 BC.
Shot a deear with one, worked well. They are very high velocity rounds only for BOLT Guns not ARs.

I've loaded quit a few different 450 Rounds for my Gunsite Scout and my favorites for accuracy are the TTSX boatail and the Cutting edge copper hollow points.
Even better than that the stock Hornady Blacks. The Bear creaks I think are a little more finicky due to them being longer. The short fat bullets seem to shoot well no matter what. They all are acceptable but at 200 yards my groups were better from the Barnes TTSX 250gr under 42gr of H110. Around 2300 fps from my 16" Barrel. Add around 110fps if you have a 24" barrel. The Cutting edge bullets a close second.

Bear Creeks from the factory are loaded with around 45.5 gr of H110 under a 240gr bullet that is coated to reduce friction.
16" Ruger - 2459 FPS
25" CVA scout - 2582 fps

No doubt they will take out any deer, so will any of the other bullets. They were made to extend the range of the 450BM and on paper no other round comes close to their energy retention at distances past 250 yards. But my 200 yards groups were not as tight as the 250 gr Barnes. Sure the barns is slower, not as good past 200 in terms of energy but I don't shoot much past 200 in lower Michigan.

You will have to try them in your gun to see how they shoot. In my Gunstite and CVA they were decent

Below I found one of my range targets at 200 yards. The Bear Creaks group 3-4" that low shot was me seeing how much drop so move that up to around 9 oclock next to the other two that I compensated for. Bad day 20 mph cross winds. But.. Those blue tips no matter what gun what distance always grouped tight for me. So I feel more confident with them. The Bear Creeks I might have to use Lil Gun for best results. I just need to put more time into those to find the right load for accuracy. The manufacture uses H110 and loads stout for speed. 41.2gr of H100 gives around 2200 or similar to factory hornady. Maybe between 41.2 - 46gr there is a sweet spot for accuracy. Its not bad just not quite as good as the blue tip TTSX.

Below more TTSX 100 and 200 yard groups from the Gunsite Scout 16". Just had more confidence with the TTSX.

I don't see why not. Black bears are not all that hard to kill. I did one with a 357 and a 180 XTP

First off not very many black bears will dress out more than 200 lbs.......
Black Bears are not hard to kill they hang on to life less than a deer.....behind the shoulder its easy to put a bullet threw them....put a bullet on there shoulder is a different story bears have strong large shoulder with muscle and bone shoulder that will slow down a bullets.....
Just remember a archer shoot behind the shoulder and harvest bears no problem.....
