Hi All,

New member from Kommifornia here. Just acquired my very first 16" 450 Bushmaster upper last week. Finishing up an 80% lower to put it on. Anything I should be looking out for or does it just bolt on to a standard AR lower with standard parts? I can't wait to shoot this thing. Looking forward to getting a lot of info from the wealth of knowledge here!

The 450 Bushmaster was engineered to sit on top of and be shot off of a Mil Spec AR 15 lower. Use standard rifle buffers for rifles and carbine buffers for carbines. All Mil Spec. That will get you started. Welcome to our electronic campfire!

"Hey", from SE Michigan! After 45 deer hunting seasons, Michigan changed the rules such that I felt obligated to assemble my first AR, and one that will make the deer tremble. Gotta figure out some optics yet, but I'm sure some forum searches will provide the proper recommendations. Looking forward to learning, learning, learning.

Another guy from Michigan... built a 450 bushmaster bolt action and found this forum in my searches on handloads.

Hello all,

I am Jason, like many others here I am from Michigan. I currently have a 16" 450BM on a PSA lower, topped with a VXII. Love the cartridge and rifle. I came here to gain knowledge on how to properly reload this round. I've lurked for some time and figured I needed to make a profile and say hey.

Thanks
jason
