Been watching this on the news and it looks like some places have been hit hard! Glad you're OK, Robin, I hope your family are OK also.

So far, family is okay. Still not heard from family down closer to Dallas. But power is down all over the place and we have been having intermittant cell phone and Internet disruption too. I have had intermittent connection all evening on both cell and Internet. I lost power for a few minutes during the storm but I wasn't here when it happened. I was mobile trying to spot for the NWS. ( I am a HAM Radio operator and a member of SKYWARN). I have been sick but I had to leave my house during the storm and stage so I can out maneuver the storm. While I'm out, I storm spot and radio ground activity back to NWS via our NET control. I made only one report of half inch hail at my point of observation but these tornadoes were hard to spot because they kept getting rain-wrapped. Who ever is in the path of this system needs to watch it closely the next few days. I was very lucky and the prayers are always welcome.
