How about reality tv show, apprentice style, hoot or wildcatter could be Trump. We will have to compete in various challenges ie.. Shooting ,reloading, r&d, sales etc. To win a chance at an apprenticeship with a master gunsmith or even ammo factory job from our sponsor Hornady. I'll do it for a chance to learn from a master.

Hoot, you are so correct, the dumbing down of America, I see it happening by the day. We've been around long enough to be able to recognize it and be frustrated by it, those that have grown up with it from birth, and don't know it- I feel sorry for. Amazed the heck out of me, but believe it or not- the average IQ in America has slipped to below 100. Whoa. Remember that the next time you get pissed at someone doing something stupid in traffic, or waiting forever in line at a fast food joint and then not getting what you ordered, that's what/who you're dealing with...

What I think needs to happen is there needs to be an event, a contest where the 450 Bushmaster and the 50 Beowulf and the 458 Socom are put to the test at ranges beyond 250 yards. Then they need to compare the prices of ammo. And since we have them all together on the same range, think up a few other creative challenges at ranges of 250 yards and greater. Have a good video camera crew with several camera views. Then let the Thumper do the rest. Maybe Hornady would sponsor the challenge. But it's time to show the world what the 450 Bushmaster can do beyond 250 yards.

I have emailed Gun Tests magazine http://www.gun-tests.com/ a couple of time to suggest they test large caliber AR platforms, but so far no response. This seems like something that would be right down their alley.
