How about we have a real campfire . . .

Postby Jim in Houston » Wed Jun 27, 2012 4:31 pm

The NRA Annual Convention next year in May is in Houston, TX. Is anyone interested in organizing a meeting of the 450 BM Net in conjunction with that meeting? There is a good range (out to 200 yards - American Shooting Center - http://www.amshootcenters.com/facilities/rifle-pistol/ nearby, and we could have a shoot-off and BM450 fashion show, or just hang around. Maybe Bushmaster (I'm sure they will be there) will help out? Hornady? Remington (OK, maybe not - but the other two already have floor space reserved).

This would give you another excuse to attend the NRA annual meeting - YOU ARE A MEMBER AREN"T YOU - and put some faces to the handles. I'm thinking we could do one day at the convention and the next at the range, or the other way around, with getting together for dinner in between?

Any interest out there?

Do we get a booth or what? Maybe LeMag LLC can get one. But how expensive would it be for a "Forum" to get a small info booth?

Good Idea. LeMAG FIREARMS LLC would do it in a minute, and still hang up a 450Bushmaster.net shingle..

I'll need plenty of lead time on dates and times.
