Anti gunners are saying:
"The Second Amendment was written back when guns were, like, muskets. The forefathers never imagined the kind of guns we have now, so the entire thing is, like, invalid. If you want a gun, it should be a musket".
Well I say:
"Yeah? Well, the First Amendment was written back when speech meant shouting at a town hall or writing on paper. The Forefathers never imagined recordings, the telephone, television, the movies, Internet, so the entire thing is, like, invalid. So get back to me after you write your stupidity on Parchment Paper with a Turkey Feather okay there, Mr. Reprobate?"

brucemaiman@gmail.com article was in the sacramento bee. original intent was to change it so people would acutally know what was in it. And to change immigration reform. So much for impartial media. I live in the peoples republic. It defeats and saddens me our culture here. It is of unending fear of everything and total reliance on govt to fix everything. The unending reliance on the nanny state. Californians know more about the hisotry of the Kardashians than the history of our president.
Traditional parenting is nullified ( attachment parenting and permissive parenting)
Freedom is misunderstood and abused.(legalize pot, ban cigarettes)
Assault weapons by definition are military style semiauto, mag fed and pistol grip. (SKS, Mini-14 all fit that category.) Seriously, Californians dont like assault guns but want self defense guns.
Actions without thought of consequences, because the govt will fix it all. This social cancer eventually spreads to the rest of the US, (see economic issues, gun laws and now, social reform, ) Moving to Texas or Idaho is a moot point. Taxes will skyrocket, your rights will be retooled. sorry for the defeatism, I have very few friends who understand the importance of our natural born rights. And how easily the media is tool used by governments to take them away.(see vietnam war)
There is an unending streams of bills right now to inc gun control without regard to enforcing laws in existence now.
I thought about moving to Texas, but in 5-10 years, the fed will make the entire US like California. Democrats are liberals, Republicans are Democrats, and the Tea Party isnt an offical party yet. I meet many people throughout my day. 2016 they are voting Hiliary Benghazi Flu Clinton. They still support Obama.

voting 2013

Postby 3rdgeargrndrr » Fri Mar 29, 2013 10:04 am

If you guys havent sent in your votes yet from the March 2013 Directorship ballot, and have a couple of extra spots to fill in some votes, I urge you to vote for Candidates from California and New York. Joel Friedman and Tom King. These guys are very active in their respective Anti-gunner states and quell cancerous ideas before they spread across the nation. I have personally met Mr Friedman and he is a very down to earth guy, more at home in a camo vest and orange hat than a suit and tie. If we are talking grassroots gun rights, this is ground zero. Thanks for reading
