March issue of "Wired" magazine

Postby bigboreshooter » Mon Feb 18, 2013 6:04 pm

Does anyone on here read WIRED, I have read it religiously cover to cover for three years. I have learned a lot about electronics and new technologies. This month on page 97 they decided to discuss gun violence and how to stop it by taxing ammo as much as tobacco is taxed. I am very upset by this article and the comments in it, especially the SandyHoax content. I plan on writing the editor and asking him to retract this story or offer a new story that looks at gun violence control from a perspective with out guns or ammo ie. enforcing existing laws, hold governmental agencies to same standards as citizens. Would any of you want to join me in this fight? Some one with more credentials after their name will have more sway than me. Thanks for your time BBS

Post that morons email address here and a copy or transcript of the article. I'm sure some of us HAMs will be happy to send him some sour 73s.

And if it is on-line with a comments section, post the link.

Thanks for letting us know about this - even though I am "non-Wired."

So I canceled my subscription, they refused to admit that Adam Lanza did not use a rifle. This is an outright attack by Conde Nasty publishing on outdoorsman.

He did use a rifle - an AR platform. I believe it was a Bushmaster XM15. He had two pistols with him and a shotgun in the trunk of his car, but only the BM was used in the school.

Actually, he put one of the pistols to good use. Too bad he didn't do that first and save the rifle work for later. :|
Think of all the money he saved us having to pay our tax dollars getting him off on some mental illness plea.
