Don't make it to the range much.
" Fire arm Fridays " ended with the job.
3 months without full time employment took its toll on getting ammo
or gun parts ( or anything ).

The tech glitch thing , a few of my posts were lost and I didn't feel up to redoing
them. Nothing as technical or useful as most posts here, and I figured that
most interested people had read them already.

I appreciate all the time and effort the moderators put into this site. They don't have to
and I'm not smart enough to do it.

As for zero in scopes......
I'm kinda figuring with price and ammo availability , I can use the soft targets zero my scopes

So I try to prioritize what I need, take advantage of opportunities even if a little higher priced.
Skip the outrageous .
Work on my mods , tune ups, cleanings, and trouble shooting while on hitch at work.
Not as much time for that as I expected. But I get a few minutes here and there.

I was hoping to try to meet a few members since starting my new job, but it hasn't quite worked
out for that.

Pilots got the house with the "gun range", so that's a bummer. Trying to find an alternative.
I don't think popping off a few rounds at the airport would go over so well.

Trying to make the rat shots work in my ar45. When I get some actuall hands on with
my dremel, I'll post some more.

Used to take a bunch of guys/older children to the gun club to get them into shooting. Now we can't afford/find enough ammo to do this.
I think that is part of the plan, to make it too difficult to shoot so us gun owners can find something else less expensive to do....

All the old ammo I either won't use or don't have guns for, I have been selling it. I've traded .223 for .22LR to increase the total number of rounds I can afford to shoot. My "testing" has been severely curtailed. But all in all, I have shot about the same in 2013 as 2012. Cheaper rounds and no rounds downrange without a purpose of practice, in a match or chrono work. Basically, no plinking. While I did get my .450 and .300 BO loads developed to my satisfaction since I lucked into an 8# of Lil Gun, I stopped load work on the .260 altogether.
