got chased into a tree by hogs while squirrel hunting, only to find a bobcat already in that particular tree. It was a very uncomfortable afternoon till the hogs left.


Chances are, that bobcat was hiding from those very same hogs.... He probably understood your presence in the same tree.

Yeah, we talked it over and decided it was his tree and I could use the limb I was on until he needed it.
Not no but h##l no. There's absolutely no way I would be in there after dark.
Have you seen bisteneau lately? It's either been dry, or on its way to dry, or choked out with the giant salvinia that has almost choked the lake to death. Sad

Yeah in 2010 when that pic was taken, the lake was drained. That was late May 2010. How that water plant got into that lake and took over I don't know, but if they can ever figure out how to clear it up, I will be planning a trip there.
